Wedding Invites

My darling fiancé is nagging me to finish off and start sending out our invites for the wedding. Now this is the first time he’s actually actively participating in anything wedding oriented so I’m not complaining at all. I am though already hot and bothered and this is too much activity for a day this hot and beautiful

I am going to complain about the fact that I stupidly bought 300 gsm paper and it’s way too thick . I should have got 120 gsm and I am so unbelievably annoyed over it. It’s a very stupid mistake and not something I’d normally make a mistake over. I love stationery and this is one of the things that I enjoy being creative with. Tomorrow however new paper will be bought and I will finish this by the end of the week!

I’ve put a little pic of the invites and I’m really quite proud of them. I designed it from scratch using Microsoft Word and I’ll attach the template later if anyone is interested in using it 😀

In the US this is known as a cootie catcher. I’m not sure what it was called in South Africa. If anyone remembers you are most welcome to let me know!
